We provide both out-patient and in-patient rehabilitation for our clients. Our rehabilitation out-patient unit is designed for patients with musculoskeletal problems. We perform basic diagnoses to analyze the causes of pain and to propose further courses of treatment or, if necessary, consider admission to the in-patient unit of our clinic. Laboratory and X-ray examinations can be done directly at the clinic.
Much of the rehabilitative care we provide is individual physiotherapy which emphasizes briefing the client or his/her family members to maintain a clear understanding of diagnosis and progress. Individual physiotherapy is based on a modern concept which combines the principles of clinical neurophysiology and developmental kinesiology which are carried out following a functional diagnosis of the musculoskeletal system.
In-patient rehabilitation is designed for
Acute and sub-acute rehabilitation of clients with orthopedic, neurologic, and injuries due to accidents or violence.
Clients with chronic diseases including chronic functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system
For clients who are scheduled for orthopedic surgeries at our facility, we also provide full preoperative preparation and ensure subsequent rehabilitation within the Malvazinky Rehabilitation Clinic.
In 2013 we built a brand new pavilion with state-of-the-art equipment and more luxurious rooms which ensure maximum convenience throughout hospitalization. There are 60 adjustable beds, new high-quality equipment for physiotherapy and a multi-media system (TV, radio, Internet, Skype) for improved patient comfort.
Comprehensive rehabilitative care is ensured by our rehabilitation team. The team is made up of rehabilitation experts, orthopedists, neurologists, and internal disease specialists. Other specialists including physiotherapists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, nurses, and nursing staff are also included based on the needs of our patients.
